Abstract

These recommendations were made from the Exercise Cardiology Committee and the Cardio-Oncology Committee of the Argentine Federation of Cardiology, with the aim of providing concrete, evidence-based information to work with an emerging population that is oncology patients with cardiac pathology or high risk of having it. This work arises within the framework of the increase in life expectancy of cancer patients, and the early detection of cardiotoxicity that leads to people presenting one or more risk factors or cardiovascular diseases that put their health at risk. For this reason, work has been done to make Cardio-oncological Rehabilitation (CORE) visible, as a complement to pharmacological treatment.
