Abstract

Adolfo José de Bold died in Ottawa, Canada, on October 22, 2021. It would be say that his legend grew at that moment, but it is no true, due to the science he was a living legend many years ago. He was the discoverer of the endocrine function of the heart and one of the most important cardiovascular scientists of the last 100 years.
