Abstract

Aneurysms of coronary arteries are an infrequent pathology, with an approximate incidence of 1 to 2% in our environment. Its importance lies in the possibility of producing heart attacks due to thrombosis or spasm and rupture. Little is known about its evolution, prognosis, and treatment. The case of a patient with an acute coronary syndrome with ST-segment elevation (STEMI) is reported in which, at the time of revascularization, the presence of a giant aneurysm in the anterior descending artery was verified, which led to adopting an interventionist attitude.
