Abstract

Cardiac papillary fibroelastoma is a rare benign cardiac tumor, present in less than 10% of all cardiac tumors. Relatively small and asymptomatic. If symptoms are present, it is due to obstruction of flow or peripheral embolization. The most common location is on the aortic and mitral valve surfaces. We present the case of a successful surgical resection of a papillary fibroelastoma.
